Find your style!
Don’t do what everyone else is doing, don’t just follow the trends. Use your personality to attract the jobs and clients that you deserve. Here’s how:
1. Identify your original character, your personality features. Maybe you are very optimistic or well organized. Take a few moments, why do you think people are attracted to your brand?
2. Describe yourself. Why do people enjoy working with you? How do you communicate?
3. Identify your specialty. What is it that you do and what do people want you to do for them?
Use these exercise to create a compelling personal brand persona that you can always use when referring to your personal brand.
#3 Identify Your Values and Set Your Priorities
It’s essential and highly necessary to have a clear picture of your personal and professional goals, both short and long-term. This strategy will help you identify the most important things that you should follow to get fantastic results.
Write down your top 3-5 vital activities that you should focus on. I know the list is long, but try to delegate the rest one by one the more you grow and expand your business or career. This tactic ensures you to stay on track.
#4 Always learn
Once you’ve identified your uniqueness and strengths, perfect them. Learn all that you can and become the expert in that area. You can never stop learning. Read, absorb, and teach.
#5 Focus on your niche
It’s important to know who you are addressing to. Who is your ideal client or boss? What needs, desires or fears do they have?
#6 Build Your Platform
If you are going to have a personal brand, you will need a website or a blog to create your online tribe/ community. Your website/ blog should have your real name or something that reflects you. Use social media to reach your audience and obtain social proof. Share your voice and reveal your soul.
#7 Share Your Knowledge
Teach everything you know, share your knowledge and help others. Share your opinion and your experiences. Use videos, social media, and writing both online and offline. In this way, you prove you know your stuff and gain exposure from doing so.
